Employers and CEOs need to realize that a job is 100% conditional relationship. I work for you as long as I'm paid me well and that may change if the employer or I find a better deal.
That's why I can't roll my eyes hard enough when I hear a CEO talk about "company loyalty". Based on what?
There's no such thing as company loyalty or job security. People work for a paycheck so they can live. You're not a saint, a hero, or even a leader by paying people for work. No one owes an employer anything beyond what's on their contract.
