I'm like... bewildered at the idea of an office, especially corporate ones, being "safe places". The amount of ass-kissing, subtle mine fields, gossip, navigating stupid unspoken dynamics between coworkers, uncomfotable office culture games, and emotional labor is exhausting.

As far as being vulnerable, like what??? In my experience, is so frowned upon and can easily cost your job. What is this author talking about?
